Rush - Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer is probably Rush's most recognizable song and is definitely one of the best rock songs of the early 80's. It would be hard to listen to any classic rock station across the country at any given time and not hear Tom Sawyer being played. For such a great song, this video definitely lacks creativity. Enjoy!

Foo Fighters - Big Me

Big Me was the first big hit for the Foo Fighters. It was the fifth single released from their 1995 self-titled debut album. The song is most famous for it's music video, which is a parody of the Mentos candy commercials. The video won an MTV Video Music Award, which is their first and only VMA to-date. Enjoy!

Kansas - Dust in the Wind

Dust in the Wind is a staple on classic rock stations around the country. Back in 1978, it was a top ten hit for Kansas, peaking at #6 on the Hot 100 charts. It's Kansas' highest charting single of their career. This is an entertaining video to watch because it's amazing to me that people actually looked and dressed like this in public. Enjoy!

Free - All Right Now

All Right Now is one of the most recognizable classic rock songs of all time. It's hard to believe that it is Free's only top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Back in 1970, it peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the U.K. Singles charts. Though Free released at total of six studio albums, they only had one other single chart on the Hot 100, and that was 1970's The Stealer, which peaked at #49. Because All Right Now is their only successful single, they're primarily known as a 70's one-hit wonder. Enjoy!

Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine

Sweet Child O' Mine is Guns N' Roses' biggest hit of their career so far. Back in 1988, it went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, which was a rarity for a heavy metal band like GN'R. It's still their only #1 hit on any Billboard chart. 2002's November Rain came close when it peaked at #3 on the Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!

Live - Lightning Crashes

Lightning Crashes is Live's biggest hit of their career so far. Back in 1995, it topped both the Billboard Mainstream and Modern Rock charts. It spent 10 weeks atop the Mainstream Rock charts. The song was never released as a commercial single in the United States, so it wasn't able to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Enjoy!

Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

Black Hole Sun is arguably Soundgarden's biggest hit and most recognizable song. It spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts back in 1994. Soundgarden, along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains are largely responsible for ushering out the 80's hair band sound and ushering in the Grunge Rock scene. Enjoy!
