The Beatles - Twist and Shout

No list of the greatest rock songs of all-time would be complete without featuring a Beatles song (actually a number of Beatles songs will be featured). My favorite Beatles song is their cover version of Twist and Shout, which was released as single in the U.K. in 1963 and the U.S. in 1964. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in '64. It enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in 1986 when it was featured in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. So much so, that it peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts that summer. Enjoy!
